Trilogy Agency, developer and manager of VIBE Home Makeovers announced today that they have added additional home renovations to the inaugural Tampa Bay project in 2025-26.
In addition to the VIBE Flagship Edition, where a recipient family-in-need receives a complete home transformation, with numerous exterior and interior improvements and upgrades, four more recipients will receive ‘mini makeovers’ with each receiving four or more major improvements and an array of finishing touches, as part of the recently announced VIBE Select Edition.
The Select Edition renovations and upgrades are completed during Spring, 2026 employing a community build format, and supported by volunteers from our VIBE project partners, including home improvement-related companies.
In addition, where the VIBE Flagship Series requires the recipient to own their home, eligibility will be expanded with the Select Series to include those families who rent the home in which they live.
This will open the application process to more than a million Tampa Bay residents who need help, but are currently in the renting stage of their life.
It is expected that each Select Edition recipient will receive four or more major improvements and upgrades, in addition to various finishing touches, which will make their home more energy-efficient, more functional, more contemporary, and more comfortable.
The major upgrades are selected by the family-in-need, and may include Interior Painting, New Flooring, Kitchen Cabinet Refacing, Appliances, Bathroom Updates, Furniture, Mattresses and Bedding, among others.
Outside options may include Painting, Landscaping, Lighting, Exterior Veneer Walls, Gutters + Protection, Outdoor Furniture, Deck, Therapeutic Spa, Lawn Care Equipment, Outdoor Shed, among others.
Finishing touches to complete the designer makeover may include Artwork, Décor, Mirrors, Plants, Vases, Rugs, Lamps, Clocks, Shelving, Linens, and Throw Pillows; all combined with the Homeowner’s Treasures.
Nominated families and individuals household income should not exceed 300% of federal poverty level ($96,450 for a family of four), although families with severe health or other challenging conditions may be eligible with higher household incomes. Simply, the greater need a nominee family or individual may have, the lesser the focus on the income guidelines may become.
Candidates for all VIBE Home Makeovers must reside in the home to be renovated.
Applicants for the VIBE Select Series can own or rent their home, and must live in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, or Citrus county.
A typical VIBE Select Edition makeover for those who rent their home may include new furniture, mattresses and bedding, upgraded electronics, interior paint, and a collection of home décor.
A typical VIBE Select Edition makeover for those who own their home may include a complete exterior painting, outdoor deck, landscaping, new appliances, and a selection of home décor and artwork.
